Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files in which information is recorded that can be stored on your hard disk. These are generated by the web server with which you have established a connection via your web browser and are then sent to you. Most browsers are currently set to accept cookies automatically. If you wish, cookies can be rejected or accepted only after your confirmation. You can also delete cookies from your system at any time. Instructions on how to deactivate cookies can be found in the "help function" of your browser. We use cookies on our Internet pages in order to be able to provide our services more individually. It is also possible that our advertising partners in affiliate marketing place cookies in your browser in order to measure the success and billing of advertising media (online banners). In order to optimize our internet presence and various functions, we are supported by a number of tools from the following service providers:

You may allow or disallow AdRoll and its partners to display advertisements on and outside of AdRoll. Google Ads is an internet advertising service of Google Inc. ("Google"), which allows us to display ads both in Google's search engine results and on the Google advertising network.

Google Ads promotes our website by displaying interest-related advertisements on third-party websites and in Google search engine results and by displaying third-party ads on this website. If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google will place a so-called conversion cookie in your browser. A conversion cookie automatically loses its validity after thirty days and is not used for personal identification. Neither we as the operator of this website nor other Google Ads advertisers receive information from Google that could be used to identify you.

The information summarized in the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the IP-anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Google uses pseudonyms for this purpose. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Ads is not merged with other data from Google.

Google Remarketing

With Google's remarketing function we reach users who have already visited our website. This way we can present our advertising to target groups who are already interested in our products or services. Google Ads also identifies common interests and characteristics of users of our website based on their behavior on sites in Google's advertising network ("display network") over the last 30 days, as well as using contextual search engine technology. Based on this information, the ads will then find new potential customers for marketing purposes whose interests and characteristics are similar to those of our website users. Targeted remarketing is done through the combined use of cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies and Google DoubleClick cookies.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies, which enable an analysis and evaluation of the use of the website. The information summarised in the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the IP-anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and then shortened there.

On our behalf, Google will use the summarised information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the activities on the website and to provide further services to us, as the operator of the website, in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. Google uses pseudonyms for this purpose. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager is also used on our website. The Google Tag Manager is another solution from Google Inc. that allows you to manage website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager is a domain without cookies that does not collect any personal data. The Google Tag Manager provides for the triggering of other tags, which in turn may collect data. This is herewith pointed out separately. The Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been made by the user at the domain or cookie level, this will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Our website uses the map service Google Maps of Google Inc. via an API (Application Programming Interface). ("Google"). To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary that we store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

Further information on "Google Ads", "Google Analytics", "Google Tag Manager", "Google Maps" and the applicable data protection regulations of Google can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Avoidance of data use by Google

The collection and storage of data for web analysis can be contradicted at any time with effect for the future.

The storage of cookies can be prevented by a corresponding setting in your browser software; as a result of deactivating cookies, it is possible that in this case not all functions of this website can be fully used. Furthermore, each user can prevent the collection of data and information generated by the cookie and related to his or her use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
